Good prices, but it ends there. As I type this, the entire Holdfire network has been down, and has been for well over 24 hours straight now. It was hacked, and the hacked sign still remains on the Holdfire homepage as I type this. The only sites on the network
that have been restored are, conveniently, the Holdfire owners' personal blog site. She is a 21 year old known on the internet for being a petty b*tch. If you're looking for good support then you're not going to get it at the amateur Holdfire. If you're into getting your head bitten off for even beginning to complain at the continuous downtime then Holdfire is the host for you. I used to be hosted with them and my site went down on an almost daily basis. So glad I'm not with them now or my whole site would have been hacked like everyone elses.

Gave these folks a try after my former host webcinch shut down shop. Initially it started going alright. I had about 4 or 5 sites at the time which needed to be transferred from one host to theirs. For whatever reason they took it upon themselves to do the transfer manually. Um ok, maybe these people know what they're doing. A few days later they say completed. I check the sites out, 2 of them were ready to go, the others weren't. So sent them an email saying 2 were good, the others not so good. And I don't hear anything back from them.

Mind you they only offer a 14 day money back guarentee. So I have no intention of letting these guys do nothing for the next 12 days and then stick me with half completed sites. I signup with another host and my thinking is whoever finishes first wins. I run a business and can't afford 2 weeks worth of downtime. Within 48 hrs host number 2 had all my sites transferred and working properly.

Holdfire loses. So I send them an email stated everything and looking to cancel and get refunded. In return I get an extremely defensive email from them. Almost child-like in their attitude. And summarily told me to submit a cancellation through their portal system.

I did so, and that's the last I've ever heard from them. No refund, no emails, nothing. All my records have been removed from their site as though I was never there. And of course they won't respond to my emails now.

I can't say everyone's experience was like this but I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for your hosting needs. Unless of course you can afford to lose $100 when you don't like their service and cancel within the 14 day period.
