I moved a domain into hostgator about 18 months ago. The price, disk, and bandwidth were unbelievable value to me. IO started moving some new domains that were not too important, just developing stuff. Trying this out. A couple of times I have had direct email support and involvement from the owner which was a big surprise. I have 2 different monitoring services that log access times, speed, and uptime. Since Hostgator was the best value, fastest connection, least downtime, and best service, I continued to move sites over and leave other hosts that were performing pretty well.

Today I have all my domains hosted on HostGator and am truly happy with their service!

I have been using Host Gator since February 2007 and not had a single problem from them anyway lol. Ran into a few kinks importing my message board but the support staff was more than helpful in getting me set up. I have been recommending this to anyone looking for hosting. Great prices and great support what more could you ask for?

Its been a few months since I have been hosted by you guys and have loved it from day one that I came aboard.

First of all I gave it a try with my second website that I created when I came here. My other website was still being hosted by Invision at the time which in a short time, I had moved over to this account.

I have had hostgator for about 4 months now and absolutely the best i've have yet! Excellent features, bandwidth and diskspace.. Not to mention the AWESOME support at the drop of a hat. What more could a guy ask for? Reseller account i just got friday is just plain awesome! Nothing more to say except GET HOSTGATOR!!!! they rock!

I've been on their reseller package for like a year and I have to say they are pretty good. I don't really have downtime and my customers are all happy so thats always a good sign. Host Gator support is also pretty good with decent response times and the responses are actually legit. If you need reseller hosting then they have the best plans and really good reputation in web hosting.

Excellent host they answer all your questions and have 24/7 chat help available when you need it.

And better still there price for hosting is extremely cheap for a premium service.

I am so glad i switched from my old host which was well rubbish.

I have been with HostGator for 3 years and after trying various hosts I have found a good home for my site. They have great support which is very important when choosing a company and with 7 sites I have to make sure when I need someones assistance I can get it. I would highly recommend HostGator hosting to anyone who need a good hosting package with an awesome company!

They are great so far. I have been using them for 4 months and have had absolutely no problems. With many other hosts I usually waste valuable time trying to get everything setup and once it is setup, something fails.

HostGator has been hosting my personal websites as well as all my referrals and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They had me setup within minutes and I uploaded my website through there easy to use control panel. The price was competitive to other hosting companies but since I signed up I was most impressed by there 24/7 support. They helped me with my scripts and my photo-gallery and my blog issue as well. I'm coming up on my 6th month anniversary with hostgator and wanted to share my experiences.

uptime and speed, excellent. my uptime for the 6 month period is 99.96%. according to domaintools.com there are 700-some other domains (i realize this isn't end-all be-all accurate) so either i've totally lucked out or the machine i am on runs very efficiently.

Because this site is pretty basic, i have not had a need for hostgator's support. i have been with them one other time in the past and at that time (approx 1 year ago), their ticket response time was approx. 30 minutes.

I pay 9.95/mo for 100gb of space and 1,000 gb of bandwidth. while i will never come even remotely close to reaching that, it's nice to know that it is (hopefully) there.

I have now been with HostGator for 1 year and wanted to share my experiences. Overall HG is hands down the best host I have worked with since moving from a dedicated server after shedding all of my projects but one.

Reliabilty:
I have not monitored the uptime of my account/site religiously however I have not experienced any user reported outages in the past year. My site is a medium community and they normally do a very good job of bringing problems to my attention so I feel confident if the site was unreachable I would have known about it.

Service:
Their service has been top notch every time I have contacted HG. Most of my service needs have been general questions about system settings for cron jobs and such but the single time I needed full-blown support they went above and beyond what their policies stated they would do. It has been very hard to find a host with this level of service since leaving a server and being used to the "managed" level of support.

I have tried a few hosting providers , and have found that hostgator has been the most reliable one for me . plenty of space and plenty of bandwidth at a very cheap price , infact my first month only cost me $0.01 ( how good is that ) .
cpanel as standard , very easy to use , very good live chat support , i have had no downtime ( that i know of ) speed is spot on .
overall hostgator rocks for me

I acquired a reseller account with Hostgator knowing that it is a reliable webhost provider. However, it is short lived because all of a sudden Hostgator suspended my account on the ground of credit card fraud. I explained to them in writing with the the supporting documents that there was no fraud involved but a double payment posting cancelled by my credit card provider. However Hostgator refused to accept my explanation. Instead Hostgator wanted me to call their customer support once and for all. I did not give in to the Hostgator's demand since it would incur me long distance charges . Besides I already made my official explanation. I don't think that's the way to handle a new customer like suspending my account when I already paid my dues.

This host i have used is no really the best host. The price are high but they do have some good feature, like they gave me a free domain reseller that really cost 150$ so they are good in that!
I don't like there hosting as they don't allow proxy, which was mainly the reason I bought there hosting. Some good and bad.

HostGator is really great web hosting provider. They have excellent uptime, great services, but I think their price is a bit too high, but when you compare all you get for that price, you actually are even willing to pay more for that great host!

HostGator... I was not sure at first about these guys... but I am VERY impressed with there tech support and hosting... I used 1&1 before HostGator and they were HORRIBLE! I decided to undergo the switch and give HG a try since I had a coupon (from hostreviewsite.com) which let me get the baby package for a penny... There support and service both are awesome and the features are great... I would def. refer people to them for hosting.

they are good and I have been with them over 1 year, the support is very fast and 24/7. They know what they are doing. One thing though if you need a lot of MYSQL watch out the 50,000 files limit. You may need another account if you use a lot of Database. Send they a email and see it for yourself
