Our Story

HostHero is a privately owned web hosting provider located in Toronto, Canada. Since day one our goal has been to provide secure, reliable and user-friendly web hosting. There are thousands of hosting providers on the Internet and we found a few common issues such as out-sourced support, oversold servers and low performance hosting. We wanted to step up to the plate and address these issues with a proactive solution: No-outsourcing; Pooling resources in a cloud architecture; Using cPanel as a user-friendly interface for clients; phone, chat and ticket support systems and lastly a simple way to get your website online without headaches. Our clients range from entrepreneurs to business clients who need reliable hosting with real support 24/7. Our cloud hosting separates us from the rest of the pack. It's faster, more secure and enables you to host your website on the latest hardware and technology without breaking your bank roll. Our Team

We've got a team of employees ranging from Level1 to Level3 techs, sales agents, billing staff and server admins with over a decade of experience. We've assembled a team of professionals who really have a passion for what they do. Working at HostHero requires dedication, great communication skills and experience in the industry. We have staff available via our free toll free number to answer any questions you may have and we also have a live chat system available to make things easier. Our entire staff from sales, support and billing are located in Toronto, Canada as we do not believe in out-sourcing any departments. We feel that having someone to speak with who works directly for HostHero allows our clients to feel at home. We are very proud to have all staff in-house as we are a tight knit family and will do everything in our power to make sure your hosting experience is friendly and hospitable.
Our Facility

HostHero utilizes 5 data centers in North America. We have servers in Dallas (central), Seattle (west) and Washington (east) in the United States. We have two data centers in Canada, one located in downtown Toronto and the other in Markham. We take security very seriously. Our datacenters are locked off and guarded, and can only be accessed by authorized HostHero staff. Monitored closed circuit televisions and 24x7x365 onsite security teams protect our datacenters, while military-grade pass card access and biometric finger scan units are in place to provide optimal security. The datacenter infrastructure includes environmental control (constant temperature and humidity maintenance, particulates filtration), fire suppression systems, redundant power sources and UPS backup, large capacity of multi-homed quality bandwidth, round the clock physical security (card entry, video monitoring of the facilities), and utilizes the fastest backbone carriers world-wide. Realistically, there are so many options out there it was almost impossible to pick the "best" one. So I started the tedious task of researching my top choices, thoroughly. After talking to a few potential sites that made it to my short list, I decided on HostHero for a few reasons:

First and foremost was their customer service and attention to detail. Never got any sales pressure, and always got clear and concise answers to all my questions - even the higher level technical ones.

Secondly, was their Cloud infrastructure; using Cloud Linux, who is arguably leading the industry with their technology right now, I knew I was in good hands. Their data centers are predominantly in the US, though they do have one in Toronto, Canada - another selling point, since I'm from Toronto!

Finally, was their plan offerings. VPS50 was my ideal plan, but they are all loaded with features and functionality that is very rare for those rates.

So far, its been about 6 months, and they are performing beyond my expectations. I would not have taken the time to write this if they weren't! Keep it up HostHero, I would recommend you to everyone.

VPS10 IS THE WAY TO GO! I signed up for a year, and am about half way in right now...and will definitely be renewing with HostHero. Service, quality, rate, it's all in line with what I was looking for. The features alone make it worthwile! Before I found HostHero I was paying my ISP double the money for less disk space and bandwidth. With HostHero, I not only get more for my hard earned dollars, I actually am able to talk to a live support technician on the phone - on site, not outsourced - instead of being on hold for what seems like an eternity.

I recently took HostHero for a spin (their base cloud hosting plan) and was overwhelmed with the results; I experienced 100% uptime, got ZERO complaints or notices for excessive page-calls when traffic spiked, and real-time expert support for trivial issues (I'm definitely not an advanced web admin). Two words: The Best. I have used a few different hp's (hosting providers) in the past 3 years, and am very glad I came across these guys. Their service is better than any other hp I have used, and they have some of the fastest and feature-filled Cloud and VPS plans available. One thing worth mentioning: they may be a smaller outfit than Gator, Papa and Daddy, but their level of customer service far exceeds the big box guys.

I have been working on my web building skills and have utilized number of web hosting companies. One of these which has impressed me due to level of their cost as well as quality of service, is HostHero. They gave me incredibly good deal of affordable hosting service and top shelf tools, all the way. Quick friendly responses to any questions I have. I now host 4 sites with them. It literally blew me away the night I purchased my first one. It was 2:30 am when I submitted payment and was setup instantly! The control panel makes it incredibly easy to get yourself up and running. Extremely affordable, incredible service and reliability, I'll never need to look elsewhere. These guys mean business. HostHero in not only the most affordable web host out there , but their uptime has been great, and I'd say it has been over 99%, and my site hasn't gone down in months.

I wanted to create a site for my friends and I to share photo's, stories, etc. so I signed up with HostHero for the basic Cloud hosting plan. A friend told me about them, so I gave it a shot. Not only did I get a ton of support (my knowledge of hosting/web admin is mediocre) but the speed, space, everything about the experience has so far been outstanding. The one suggestion I would make is to sign up for the longer term plan (I am going to try and have mine switched, since I didn't have the foresight earlier) and get the lower monthly rate.

I run a classical Music site, a destination for discussion, sharing, ideas, thoughts, opinions, etc. With my previous provider, I got warning emails and even twice suffered downtime due to "too many page calls" or "bandwidth overload" - even though they claimed to have unltd bw. It was the most annoying experience ever. Now, with Hero, I get none of that. True unltd bw, no matter how inconsistently the traffic on my site peaks or spikes, whatever the case, they stand behind their word. Love it!

I never really understood "Cloud" hosting or what the benefits vs downsides were, and to be honest, I only heard bad news about how shared resources had a negative impact...that is until I connected with HostHero. A friend recommended them, and I can say I am almost overwhelmed by how amazing its going. They have 24/7 support, reply emails often within 10 minutes, and I have yet to see my site slow down or go down.

I run multiple sites for a wide array of clients - from a home start-up to a full fledged SMB that sells car care products - and have now officially moved all of my clients onto Host Hero. They created a "custom plan" for me, so to speak, given what my needs were. I have the full functionality of having my own server, but without the excessive costs and time consuming monitoring. For starters, every hiccup I have ever faced has been resolved within 24hrs. I have never experienced such professional customer support in my life for anything! You guys are OUTSTANDING and experts when it comes to everything web. I did my homework on this one; all things considered, VPS50 touts one of the best plans available online - for VPS serving that is. It's been a few months, and so far HostHero has impressed me. There is always someone around to help me when I hit a wall (or lets face it, am too lazy to figure it out), and I never get alerts or complaints when traffic spikes on my sites.
