Terrible liars. The site has been down for four days. Ironicaly, 6 days after the expiry of the 30 days trial period. They email me saying "As far as they can see, the site is up" If you are playing, they might be good company. If you are in business, do yourself a favor and find someone with SOME integrity and respect to business values. They are not cheap. When you loose clients, you don't care if the site costs 20$ per month or 4$ per month. | |||

Transferring away from Host Papa is seriously very difficult. You have to raise support tickets, write an email to confirm, then wait for them to communicate with their billing department... and wait... and wait. We started the procedure 3 days ago and now we are told we have to wait until after the weekend for them to bill us before we can move. We just want to pay and go, but we can't. Frustrating. | |||

Do not go near, terrible service, terrible support, thick as shit company workers...do not let your precious sites get in the hands of these guys......also very tough to login into things....you know one of those services you think...mmmmm...i just dont like this...also come to stop your subscription...best get writing as its not obvious to do like all other hosts...wonder why? | |||

Many outages, very slow tech support, no securirty! My site got hacked twice in 2 weeks. They blaimed in on me not having updated scripts. My site was created from scratch with all their tools (wordpress). | |||

Cheap, but terrible, you're not saving anything by going with this company and you're getting even less. I have a company website that's bigger than most personal websites or small business websites, but nothing extreme. I was told by the support department that basically because it was bigger than 2GB, they considered it Data Warehousing and I had to delete the majority of the files or they would suspend the account. First of all, forget about calling the support department, you won't get through. Their support ticket system on the internet is the only way, and that is very delayed at best. When you do get a response, forget about responding to the person who answered, because not direct contact info is provided and your response email just goes back to the general email address for answer by lottery by some other technician who usually doesn't catch themselves up on the previous emails. Just brutal. In the end they told me that "because they are a shared hosting system, anything over 2 GB gets flagged for removal as Data Warehousing, otherwise it takes up too much of their system". When asked why they say "inlimited Disk Space" in their marketing materials, and not "2GB Limit", they had no answer. They also said that because they are a shared system, you basically have to be willing to make sacrifices for functionality. Really? Where does it say that on the webpage? In the end I decided to take down most of the webpage, because I couldn't afford to have the site suspended, but 3 attempts to remove the files were interrupted on their end, the deadline for removal passed, and they suspended the account anyway. Just brutal. Other problems: -drops out frequently for short to long periods -a number of the applications they provide don't work well or don't work at all (like Web Disk), and they don't provide support for any of them. -support for anything takes forever, doesn't follow a continuous path, and rarely achieves anything. Tickets are slow, phone number is useless, and online chat is not helpful. -domain transfer takes forever (ended up doing it myself with the old registrar) -auto email setup doesn't work, and the manual instructions they provide require troubleshooting, forget about calling support, just troubleshoot until it works. -website files have to be formatted a very specific way or they don't work (no caps? really?). Not something I've seen before with other hosts. -satisfaction guarantee is a limited time offer apparently (30 days), so don't pay by the year. Just terrible. Go elsewhere, and save yourself the hassle. | |||
