I have been with Hostingplex for about three years. Just recently, I have been much more active with my web site. And I have had a lot of issues with many things. However, the people at Hostingplex have been great at solving my problems, and been very responsive in helping me. I had to move a domain name to hostingplex, and they stepped me through the process until it was right. I hightly recommend the service. It is reasonably priced, and has good service.

As business owner in the United States, I recognize the importance of a good hosting company to help stabilize my business online. This is where a nice Canadian web hosting company, HOSTINGPLEX.COM, comes in. Hostinplex is a very reliable company when it comes to uptime and availability. There pricing is not bad either. They perform so well. I have more than seven(7) accounts with them. My websites, for example, http://www.thedivineemerald.com & http://www.nubianproductions.com, have never been down; they're always on! and available! My contact person at Hostingplex is a fine young man by the name of ALFEZ VELJI. He's a gentle soul and a fine website creator as well. He was the one that designed my website, http://www.thedivineemerald.com. I used to be so miserable with a very bad, "mom and pop," horrible web hosting "company" in Las Vegas. To say the truth, Hostingplex basically rescued me and my business from that stupid "company." I have been with Hostingplex.com for more than four(4) years now, and I can proudly say that I'm happy with hostingplex.com, and I will definitely recommend them to others again and again, as I had done in the past. I have no idea where all these positive reviews came from about hostingplex, because the other reviews about these guys is absolutely awful... and I wish I had thought to look around before purchasing from them.

I've been with hostingplex 3 years now. The only reason I am is because a couple of the sites are hard to move and don't make enough money to be worth paying someon.

You want 3 good reasons to avoid hostingplex like the plague and seriously... seriously.... seriously question the abnormally high reviews?

1) Some of the worst service you will ever experience. Between my own sites, client sites, and company sites, I work with a ton of web hosts. Typically a frustrating breed to work with though some are better than others. Hostingplex is awful. Rude emails, insanely long response times (days, to weeks, to "never" and then actually having the nerve to mail that it was resolved... and no, it wasn't in the spam folder), and generally ignorant replies. Such as, If I emailed you that my website was down on Monday, don't email me on Wednesday that it looks just fine. Especially when you have X,XXX domains on a server. I know the server was down so just tell me it was instead of being a jerk. I've never gotten connected with anyone on their online chat.

2) Lagging technology. They use cpanel like many webhosts so you are locked into that. I'm not sure why they fall even further behind on things like mysql dbase servers. They report 5.X, but everything I install out of the box is 4.1 and recent scripts I install choke on them.

3) bad offline support. I generally know what I'm doing but need some help on the basic "how to do X with this company". Their online support is horrible.

Stay away - stay far away. So many other choices at roughly the same pricepoint, and $7/month for hosting (which is what you actually pay unless you're signing up for 5 yrs prepaid) is barely different that what you'll find elsewhere.

I've been with HostingPlex for a few years now. I've had a total of four sites with them - three running currently. The uptime is great and the pricing competitive. Their customer support, however, goes above and beyond. The main contact I've dealt with is David. He's knowledgeable - and doesn't mind explaining things. I had a recent problem getting my SSL to work. David came through and everything is working great now. I highly recommend HostingPlex to everyone.

Hostingplex hosts my bands website and has been great to do business with. They helped us with some Flash issues we had and have been one of the best hosts we have had. Thanks for keeping our site online and bangin'!

Hostingplex has been great - for the short time I've been with them. About 4 months ago I started my website with them and so far so good, in particular the customer service stood out. The features are great, and the servers (ask them about the physical setup) are reliable, I can only hope this stays the same once traffic picks up.
