They host close to 500,000 domains and have a great reputation!

Ipowerweb used to be the best hosting available just couple years ago Lunar hosting was close, but ipowerweb was obviously better. Now things changed greatly. I have 3 accounts and for the last year went from happy customer to ipowerweb intolerant. Constant downtimes, ftp is not working more than half the time. I had 3 months of combined ftp downtime during the last 4 months!!! They agreed to move my website to another server if i would move all my files (20 gb) myself. Today the control panel failed and now i am writing a review while waiting in 40 minute waiting time hot line for tehcnical support. and from my previous experience, it will take them at least couple more calls from me to solve the problem. It's another 2 hours of my time. Do yourself a favour- don't use ipowerweb, maybe then they will improve service

SUCK. Two months in a row, my sites have been down for more than a day. IPower hosting is TERRIBLE. Do not host your site with them unless you don't care much about your site. Awful, awful awful.

Unbeleivably incompetent. Tried switching my client to an Exchange server and they screwed it up. No phone support so I had to chat with idiots who had no clue how to do a simple MX redirect then when they almost got it they were forwarding to to IP addresses. Oh did I mention my average wait times for chat support also reflected a message that said they were having problems with chat support and I waited up to 75 minutes for an agent!

Then today they switched DNS servers and reset all the POP passwords (I had to put it back to POP since that is all they seem to know how to do) then the bad MX record came back AGAIN--then there is this post on ther website Technical Difficulties With DNS :

I have three web sites on this host. Up until the last year I was happy. I was a 5 year customer. This year has been a big joke. My main personal site has been either down or seriously non functional for two months. I have called their chat line and been lied to. I have called their support phones and spent hours on hold and been lied to. two weeks ago I called again because I had been told the reason I was down was because they were upgrading an old server I was located on and they were having trouble. They would have it fixed in a couple of days. a week went by. It still wasn't fixed. I called again and was told they didn't know where I got the idea they were moving my site they couldn't do that without written permission and I had to request it!!!They also stated rudely, I might add, that the problem was that Microsoft is not supporting Front Page so they couldn't be held responsible either for their server solution! That I needed to change all of my customers web sites but a temporary solution would be to move it to their Vdeck server or use an FTP download. I elected to move to the new server.As of this time I have been down an additional week. I still can not access my site except through the internet where it transfers from my domain to a host server. I called again-getting a Darren G. He was rude didn't follow through with what he said he was going to do and I am not fixed. I can not publish to this site through FrontPage at all.

Anybody who goes with ipower is crazy. They are the pits. Lousy support be it tech support or billing. If you want long waits, delays, rude support and the most unfriendly staff there is, this company is for you. When you try to get things resolved, they put supervisors on a pedestal. Forget it, they are protected like they are gods. You are at their mercy.

The pain and aggravation they caused me wouldn't be worth it even if they were paying me to use their services.
