Maiahost is the web hosting division of Psionic-Studios, LLC – a website development and internet marketing company.In September 2005, our company needs for reliable and cost effective web hosting services for both our own and our numerous client’s website demanded that we open our own web hosting division. This service was primarily used for internal purposes and was not offered as public service until May 2006 when we officially launched the Maiahost brand and opened our reliable web hosting services to the world.
Our team is made of professional website developers, both engineers and designers, and our experienced help and support quickly attracted numerous web hosting clients. For the relatively short period of time Maiahost became proffered CMS web hosting provider on the internet as we offer services that are not covered by other web hosting companies. Our preinstalled turnkey CMS hosting packages became extremely valuable and easy solution for new webmasters that don’t have vast experience in working with Content Management Systems. This opportunity to have your own website for less than four us dollars enables people with no previous experience in web development or design to have their own blogs, web galleries and even online stores. That is why our slogan is “a breath of fresh air to hosting”
In order to ensure the best possible hosting experience, all our employees own a share of our company and therefore they work for themselves. This business model had proven to be incredible stimulant for great quality of service and it will continue to outshine us as the best hosting service on the internet.

I've been a Maiahost customer for over 3 years and I've been very happy with their support and service. They are available 12+ hours every day, I'm from the UK and usually they are online by 11am or so through to 11pm which is great. I host over 20 urls and have never had problems, in fact they go beyond the call of duty and help me with general CMS and other queries I have. I hope people looking for a hosting site consider maiahost, I am certainly happy I chose them. Chris | |||

Basically if anyone is entitled to post a review on Maiahost I should too. Venetsian is a long time employee of ours, however he first started as a client. Every employee has a share of the company. Right now Ben (me) and Venetsian hold 75% of the shares while the other 4 people hold 25%. Each person has a bonus at the end of the month when the total revenue is calculated, based on his/hers % of the shares. What is funny indeed is that someone that has no way of determining if he/she is a client of ours, has an account with us or not can post a review, while I host 20+ sites on all servers with us and haven't even started reviewing us yet. | |||

This hosting provider offers great service and features. However, I have a problem with the support. Venetsian Jakimov is always the one handling the support/sales chat. Every time I try to ask something through chat, he seems to be having a bad day. He throws a lot of sarcasm and treats you like you should already know what you are doing. I don't know if he is pissed off with his job or what. Your customer support SUCKS BIG TIME! Venetsian Jakimov has an attitude problem and should not be interacting with customers. His brother is far better in handling customers than him. Customer support from other companies may take a while before you could talk to someone but they RESPECT their customers and are VERY PATIENT. | |||

I'm not really good reviewer but I'm really happy with my new hosting company I've decided to put few good words about them. I used to be customer with Siteground but due to some major delays in page loading (I guess it was because the server load was quite high) I kind'a lost patience and decided to switch to a more reliable host. As you know there are tons of hosting companies and everyone promotes as being the best but actually most of them suck so badly and I think I got somehow lucky in finding Maiahost. I gave em a call before subscribing to their service and the sales person was really quick with my questions and that really made me happy. I checked few other hosts but I had to wait on the phone for "please wait which available agent.." blah blah blah and I just hang up. A day later I was subscribed with Maiahost. They moved my website from Siteground and that was free of charge! Since then I'm hosting there and I'm really happy because the last eight months were really peasant and I didn't have any problems with them which is mainly the reason why I've decided to put few good words for them and help them keep their low prices. | |||

What a Joke! I setup a blog for a customer and after pinging the blog at a few sites the account was promptly banned. My customer got a response in hard to undersand english stating that search engines were crawling all over his site and that they were going to steal his content. Stay away...stay very far away. | |||

I joined Maiahost in February 2009 and must say that they are one of the best webhosts in the world, provided you keep your websites very very small. Once it gets a bit bigger, they kick you out. My only complaint about them is that they are greedy and dishonest. Maiahost Multiple Plan claims in their advertisement to offer 50,000 MB monthly bandwidth and 5,000 MB disk space for US$6.95 per month. But when I used up only 2,352 MB. of our monthly bandwidth allocation (5% of 50GB) and 2,550 MB of our disk space allocation (51% of 50GB), they suspended my multiple websites and told me that they could sell those resources to "20 other people". This means that their actual allocation for my Multiple Plan is only 118 MB monthly bandwidth transfer and 128 MB disk space! Hence, I think Maiahost is not value for money. And don't trust their inhouse CPU Usage software tracker either! That could just be one big lie that cannot be independently verified. Those who knows a bit of programming will know that you can just add a line PRINT CPUUSAGE * 1.3 to your actual usage. And given their deceptive advertising, I won't trust their software either. | |||

Hi Venetsian, Its funny that you work for maiahost and you try to review your own company. Nice one. If you are really that good of a company then a customer besides yourself and your two employees ben and u (Venetsian), maybe people will believe you. | |||

I was with Maiahost for 3 years give or take. There are some good things I could say about them and i particular the promptness off their tech support. Sadly anything good I can say is eclipsed by the fact they terminated my account at the request of Spamhaus for being a source of spam and malware. In fairness I canceled the account before I was officially terminated but I did get a message saying Spamhaus demanded my site be removed before Maiahost would be unlisted as a hosting service for spam. My last year or more there was nothing but an ordeal for me in terms of my site being hacked over and over. It came to eb that I was doing less posting than trying to deal with yet another hacking or malware situation. The last situation had been going since around Christmas of 2010. The same source kept injecting .htacess files into my FTP. They just could not solve the problem and in the end terminated my account as though it were my fault. I was never even told sorry or anything. it was more like "we have to do this for our reputation". While I can understand that what has to be clear is that is not my fault my site was not protected and repeatedly hacked over over byt the same sources. I did not inject malware script into my own website for fun. The tech guy there did his best I feel but in the end something at Maiahost is not secure. | |||

Warning! MaiaHost Warning! Buyer Beware - Avoid MaiaHost! I'm a web designer and own a marketing company currently managing 20 or so websites. If Maiahost had not already wasted so much of my precious time I would go into each detail about why you should avoid this company at all costs. Especially bloggers. They have suspended our site over and over and over for no reason other than we were updating our blogs. No Notice, no explanation, and no fix. If you are using wordpress and want to work on your website through Maiahost. Each click counts as a hit on your site, even editing pages or navigating your dashboard. This is too much for Maiahost and they will suspend your website, even if the traffic is from YOU. I even verified that the IP addresses were mine and the activity was coming from us updating our Blog. SMALL SITES TOO, they sites we were hosting there were artist portfolios. So, this is just the newest pain in the arse that Maiahost Has delivered. They're online support does not communicate with phone support, it's like they're 2 different companies. They're online support is slow and not available 3/4 of the time. The phone support is only available if you catch them in the office. For those on the West Coast if something happens at 2pm, be prepared to not even has someone look at the issue unitl the next morning. Buyer Beware - We are moving all our domains off of MaiaHost. | |||
