We had a terrible experience with this company. First and foremost there is no phone number on their website at all. There is no way to call them. We finally found a phone number on a WHOIS record. We called, but our calls were never returned. When it came time to point our domain to another company, our call tickets were flat ignored. We ended up disputing our credit card charge. So, what do they do? Shut down our site and still never pointed our domain over to our new site, plus they changed all the registrant info to them and not us, and they never supplied us the user name and password for our domain, even after repeated attempts. A terrible way to do business.

SiteLeader is a Good web hosting company with lots of features and fast technical support. I have had very few problems but I still keep my main sites with Dreamhost and HostGator and my Canadian hosting provider is Hostingplex.

This hosting company is a sham and interested only in getting you to pay their early cancellation fee or their reinstatement fee. Don't believe me read paragraph 4 of their agreement and tell me how you can xfer your domain to another registrar?
4. TERM
Unless terminated as provided for in this Agreement, the term of this Agreement shall commence on the date of account activation and continue for the length of time indicated on original order. Plan types and length are shown in Exhibit A. This Agreement shall be automatically renewed for successive periods, subject to earlier termination as set forth in this Agreement, unless either party notifies the other, via E-mail or fax, on or before the ninety(90) days prior to the end of the then existing term. Failure by Customer to provide Site Leader with 90 days prior written notice of cancellation for services are subject to a $495 early termination fee. A $495 early termination fee will be applied to accounts cancelled prior to the contracted service period. Any and all customer initiated changes to the DNS (Domain Name Server) shall constitute a termination initiated by the customer and shall be subject to the provisions of early termination. Either party may terminate this Agreement without notice upon the other party's breach of any term, condition or obligation hereunder if not remedied (if remediable) (i) within ten (10) days from the date of notice, via E-mail or fax, with respect to any monetary obligation, and (ii) within thirty (30) days from the date of notice, via E-mail or fax, with regard to any other breach.

If you write them to xfer they will tell you they need an authorized individual to contact them, which I am. The only way to get your URL back is to let it expire and wait for them to delete it and register it immediately. You must watch it every day. Write ICANN and your states attorney general as well as the attorney general of IL. I'm sure they will eventually be shut down or discredited by ICANN, but what we really need is close monitoring by ICANN and swift action when this kind of business is being inflicted on the law abiding public.
