Hello, I recently bought a share hosting account with vistapages.com , I cancelled my order a days after I purchased... they offer 30 days money back...!! The reason was that my project was cancelled... They said they will refund my money and is in progress,,, Has been 2 weeks.. nothing.. my ticket was delete... I filled a paypal claim... They seems to be a nice profesional company but when it comes to refund money .. stay way !! I usually never leave bad comments on services... but I dont like loosing money..!! | |||

I first started hosting with Vistapages in 2004. Everything was good until about 2006. I started to notice that our site was not coming up all the time and e-mails were timing out, they blamed it on "load". This kept up for a few weeks or so, was really frustrating! They did resolve the issue, so I was satisfied! They have some areas to work on, like being a bit quicker on the support requests, but other than that, they've been a great pleasure to deal with, the price is right, the amount of features you get is more than you'll ever need and the guys there are very friendly, especially Steve. It was about 4AM and I had some issues with my MySQL database. I contacted technical support via e-mail, I received a response within 2 minutes. TWO minutes! If you still need to think about how great these guys are after that one, you're just way too demanding :) Vistapages has been a great host for the last 2 years, unfortunately my business did not do too well, so I cancelled my service. I still have a personal web site with them though! A great service for the money! | |||

I wanted to tell prospective clients that VistaPages is the way to go. I recently had my first problem, and it was strictly a computer virus on my end, *nothing to do with Vistapages at all.* The virus caused me to lose all my account information, and I submitted a ticket to get my information sent to me. Within *ten minutes* my password had been reset, and I had access to my site builder. I have been a customer for almost a year, and I have enjoyed all aspects of Vistapages. The site package is amazing for the price you pay, and the customer support is fast and friendly, and the community itself is very warm and opening. I make homemade videos and put them on my site for people to download - and everyone has told me that the download time is phenomenal, even the people on dialup. I am happy that I made the decision to use Vistapages ... and I haven't regretted it one bit. Anyone who is considering using Vistapages - you will enjoy every aspect of it, and have no regrets. | |||

i hosted with vistapages but their services were far from satisfactory; besides they were very ***** everytime i communicated with them; they also suspended my account for NO reason for about a month; i did not want renewal so i asked them to cancel it; when the renewal was due, after 3 months of trying to charge my card (my card was disabled for sometime), they confirmed that it is being cancelled; however they took the money; i have been writing to them but they would not answer; is this a **** company? i am sorry i ever went to them.... vistapages is one of the *** businesses to deal with...i wonder how it is listed on this site as one of the 'top' hosts..must be some error...and can you believe, they charged me @ 7.95$/m while the going rate is 5.95$/m and i was entitled for 35GB HDD while the current offer is over 500 GB.... never came across such **** ****... please do not post such a third rate company for reviews | |||

I started hosting with Vistapages after meeting with Kaumil personally. I wanted to build a web site with a photo gallery to share with my friends. He suggested that I use Vistapages since it comes with a one-click install of Gallery, a great Photo Gallery script that's included free of charge! I have to admit, I was a bit confused as to how to make it all work, but Kaumil and his support team really helped me through! My web site is a hit with my close friends and I have referred many friends who also enjoy the VIstapages service! | |||

Visatpages is a very unreliable hosting service. I was with them for six months and they had two major melt-downs, Check out their recent support forum entries before they cycle out in a few days. I'll repeat the best parts in case you miss it! 05-28-2008, 11:35 PM At approximately 7:00PM EST, we have detected an issue with Apollo spitting out errors. We have technicians looking into the issue. Further updates will be made as available. 05-29-2008, 03:08 AM Our technicians are still working to resolve the service interruption issue with Apollo. May 30 , 12:22 AM The server is now online. The technicians are now working to restore files from our regular snapshot backup files. May 31 05:57 AM User /home files have been restored. Files are accessible via FTP & SSH. Mail should also be accessible via POP/IMAP. Technicians are still working on restoring Apache/HTTP service. Once this is done, customers will be able to access cPanel, Webmail and their web sites. May 31, 02:32 PM Customer's websites will be loading now. We're working on restoring MySQL databases. May 31 05:32 PM Thank you for your patience thus far. The last 36 hours have been a very difficult, frustrating time for everyone, including our support staff and technicians whom are currently working around the clock. ... 2. Add-on domains are currently not functioning. Our programmers are working on a script to rebuild these configuration files. Once this is completed, your add-on domain web sites will start to re-appear. We suspect that e-mails will also start to be accessible for add-on domains, however, this is still being investigated and will be resolved shortly. ... 3. MySQL databases have been located. We are having a difficult time extracting the databases along with the directory tree structure which is preventing us from restoring them for every customer. This issue has been moved to the background, but still remains a top-priority to recover. We encourage all customers with MySQL-driven web sites to restore from previous backups. If you are not sure how to do this, please submit a ticket with the SQL/MySQL file location (please upload it to the server before submitting a ticket) and we'll help you import them back into your databases. This was not on our centralized storage system, however this type of failure will be rectified in newer versions of our infrastructure. May 31 , 01:30 AM We are investigating e-mails related to parked and addon domains & hope to have this resolved shortly. May 31, 03:16 AM #5: MySQL Databases. There has been some confusion from our previous e-mail. So I'll take the time to clear it up as best as I can. MySQL is stored on a local system for performance (read/write) purpose as opposed to being stored on our gigabit storage network (all your /home, email files). It is taking us longer to recover MySQL files for this reason. Our technicians are currently performing data recovery on the drives pulled from the server, similar to tasks that the government agencies and data recovery firms under go. We're lucky to have that talent available to us. This process, unfortunately for everyone is time consuming, but we're working as fast as possible. ... *** IF & WHEN *** we are successful in our attempts to recover the databases from the local drives, we will be performing a mass restoral of MySQL databases for customers. Those that have decided to restore from their own backups will be skipped to prevent new data from being lost. Those customers will be provided with the backup files seperately in their /home directory for your use. | |||
