My company has been with iweb now for almost 3 years. We did have a lot of problems with one of the dedicated services we purchased, but it appears it was just a bad server. Overall, I've been quite happy with iweb. Yes, it's true that most of their technical people have limited skills in English (the company is based in Montreal and uses a French-speaking workforce), but their responsiveness is normally very good. We chose them originally because we needed a Canadian ISP to meet Government of Canada privacy laws. Iweb's reliability has been extremely good since we started with them, although in recent times, the company has been plagued by denial of service attacks, at times slowing down their network. We are in the webcasting business, so reliability is vital. To be frank, no ISP is perfect. They ALL have problems from time to time. We have worked with many different ISPs over the last 15 years and they all suffer from technical glitches. It's how they handle those glitches that matter. We give iweb a passing grade on responding to problems. However, if network problems prove to be a chronic, ongoing issue - we won't hesitate to seek other suppliers to replace them because in the web hosting business, clients will accept only so much. I will let you know how things progress. So far, so good.

I had web hosting with iWeb for two years. Their technical support was always very slow, days not hours like my other ISPs and a few times the advisors were incompetent. After many hours of unexplained down time and trying to contact them, I got frustrated and asked to have my service switched to another provider. Again after several contacts and many days of delay, it was finally terminated. However, my money was never returned as promised in their guarantee; I was issued a credit to my account with them, which of course is useless. They claimed that thirty days was plenty of time to evaluate their services. While it is true that the first thirty days were great, since them their service is mediocre at best. They are many reputable, competent ISPs out there; this is not one of them.

Very poor customer service.
Site was down for almost a week; dealing with their tech support was worse than pulling teeth! Very poor communicators, nobody would take responsibility for providing a solution to the tech problems.

Complete crap!

They've taken my site down for the third time in two months for "using too much bandwidth" because the site has grown in popularity.

Wouldn't most normal hosts try to just sell you a higher plan?

Who was the idiot who thought up this policy?

After doing business with iWeb for several months, I would say that our web sites were often down and the support was very very bad. So, we decided to move our websites with another provider.

So, I recommend you to NOT do business with iWeb even if they seams to have good prices.

Terrible service and customer support.

I used this service for over a year. Although it started off OK, within a few months my site would go down every couple weeks because of some 'automatic server maintenance". It became so frequent that my IT guy eventually just had a fixed fee to go in and turn back on all the services.

We entered more than half a dozen service calls. Their response was usually just "here is how you log on to turn them back on". They never addressed the real issue as to why the site kept going down other than to say "it shouldn't do that".

Finally, when it went down 3 times in a month I told my IT guy to stop wasting his time. I had cancelled my credit card that the server was on and had had enough. They sent me to collections for their broken server and when I spoke with customer service they said that it did not matter whether the server was functional or not. Regardless of whether or not it operated properly, it was my responsibility to pay for it because that's what my contract says. Asked for customer service to at least look into how many service calls I submitted over the same issue that was never fixed. Look at how much downtime my server had!

She said she wouldn't bother looking because it didn't matter how many problems I had or how long the server was out.

99.9% up time? Please!

Horrible service across the board.

Told her that I'll pay for the service I never got and share my experience with others.

We had iWeb for 5 months. We had problems from the beginning, which we thought were fixed. We came to find out (after customer complaints, many emails, charge backs on Paypal, etc.) that the problem was still not fixed. A basic function was NOT enabled on our windows server which they said would be. We wasted a lot of time with emails, support tickets (that magically disappeared when we wanted to have copies of them for proof of lack of service) and more. Their support ticket is the slowest my team has ever seen. They are very rude and they do not have an ounce of customer service about them. They will say anything to get you to purchase their services when it comes to deliver, they are horrible. Do not do business with iWeb - you will regret it. You will incur loses and have wasted time.

Hi all, Just wanted to inform anyone out there thinking of getting iweb servers. Its a SHAM. They will ruin your business make you pull hair out of your head by pulling your server down whenever they feel like it.

This just happened for the 4 th time in a week. and all i can hear from them is " Sorry We didn't follow protocol" What Rubbish is that? Who will compensate me for loosing customers and orders?

GET AWAY FOM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SO GREEDY WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered my server on April 17, 2012 with 100mbps as they claimed.
When I tried porting my server load, I experienced severe lagging. I checked the port speed and it is only 10mbps.
I open a support ticket telling them my port speed is only 10mbps. After waiting or several hours they old me that it is 100mbps.
I argued and after several emil exchanges I decidec to cancel my server and i filed a paypl claim. Its good paypal decided in favor of me.

This is the most frustrating and disappoining.
I open a tiket for cancellation on April 19 but they just kept quiet. Only to find that it s their tactic pretending that they did not receive my cancellation, so they continue sending me invoices.

They asked me to pay or service i never used and hich i already cancelled just 3 days after i ordered my server.

This company is so greedy with poor customer service.
